Duel is entertainment. Competitions should be played for enjoyment, with money you can afford to lose, and never as a way to make income or recover past losses.
1. Play for entertainment
- Only enter competitions with money you can afford to lose.
- Decide in advance how much and how long you will play, and stop there.
- Never play to win back losses.
- Do not play while stressed, upset, or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Never borrow money, or use money set aside for essentials, to play.
- Take regular breaks.
2. Warning signs
- Playing longer or spending more than you intended.
- Chasing losses with larger entries.
- Hiding your play from family or friends.
- Neglecting work, school, sleep or relationships to play.
- Feeling anxious, irritable or restless when not playing.
- Borrowing money or using funds meant for bills.
- Feeling unable to stop even when you want to.
If any of these apply to you, use the tools below and contact one of the free support resources.
3. Account controls available today
- Minimum and maximum deposit amounts are enforced on every deposit.
- Your balance and full transaction history are always visible so you can review exactly what you have deposited, entered and won.
- Identity verification is required before any withdrawal.
- Real-money play is available only in the jurisdictions Duel supports.
- You may request self-exclusion, which suspends your access to real-money competitions.
- You may delete your account at any time from Account & Safety.
To request self-exclusion, see the Self-Exclusion Policy.
You can start a cooling-off break or permanent self-exclusion yourself at any time in Account & Safety, or ask support. They are enforced on our servers and will not be lifted early.
4. Under-18 protection
Duel is strictly 18+. Age is validated on your account and identity verification confirms it before a withdrawal. If you share a device, protect your credentials, sign out when finished, and consider device-level parental controls or filtering software. Report a suspected underage account to support@getduel.app.
