Alongside cookies, Duel stores a few values in your browser's local storage. Local storage is not a cookie, but it is disclosed here because it serves the same purpose of remembering state on your device.

• Authentication session: keeps you signed in and lets the server recognise your requests. Set by our authentication provider. Cleared when you sign out.
• Security and abuse protection: request-level protections applied by our edge network provider.
• Application version marker: records which application version your browser loaded, so that a stale page can be refreshed once instead of failing.
• Match recovery state: records the competition your device was in, so a refresh or reconnect returns you to the right screen.
• Pending result queue: holds a competition result that could not be submitted, so it can be retried instead of lost.

These cannot be turned off within Duel without breaking sign-in, gameplay or settlement.

• Sound and audio preference for games.
• Interface preferences such as dismissed notices.

Clearing site data resets these to their defaults.

When you make a deposit, the payment provider's checkout is embedded in the page and sets its own cookies within its own context, under its own policy. The same applies to the identity-verification flow. Duel cannot read those cookies.

Duel does not use advertising cookies, does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, and does not embed third-party advertising trackers.

You can clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings, and you can clear local storage by clearing site data for duelcade.com. Blocking the strictly necessary items will sign you out and can prevent competitions from working correctly.

Duel uses only cookies and storage that are necessary to run the service. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, so no consent banner is shown. We honour Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out of any sale or sharing.
